The Butterfly Foundation is seeking to fill vacant shifts at the Butterfly National Helpline 1800 ED HOPE – Sydney.

The Butterfly National Helpline 1800 ED HOPE operates Monday to Friday, with three shift times – 7.30am-3.30pm, 10am – 6pm and 1.30pm – 9.30pm.

*You need to have availability for a minimum of two shifts per week.

Regular Shifts Currently Vacant:

  • Monday 10.00am to 6.00pm
  • Tuesday 1.30pm to 9.30pm
  • Wednesday 1.30pm to 9.30pm
  • Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm
  • Friday 1.30pm to 9.30pm

The Butterfly National Helpline 1800 ED HOPE is Australia’s only national telephone and web-based counselling support service for people affected by eating disorders. The service runs from 8.00am to 9.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, and includes phone, email and web-chat (online) support and counselling, referrals to health professionals, information resources, plus delivery of online support groups and a web-based carer education program.
Through these channels you will rapidly create a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment for people with eating disorders and their families/carers and friends, in order to empower them to work towards recovery. We are looking for one or two exceptional persons, to fill shift vacancies, two-three days per week.
The service is based at Butterfly House in Crows Nest, Sydney.
