A volunteer organization of parents who have helped their children recover from anorexia or bulimia nervosa using a family-based treatment known as the Maudsley approach. This is an evidence-based therapy for eating disorders. Includes a range of materials such as videos, book reviews, information on treatment providers, and “Ask an expert”. This website is aimed at parents of children and adolescents with an eating disorder.

Carers NSW is the peak organisation for carers in NSW. They are a division of Carers Australia (link - http://national.carersaustralia.com.au/) that provides information to carers of people with a disability, mental illness, substance dependencies, chronic conditions, terminal illness or who are frail. As well as a host of information and resources, Carers NSW provide education sessions and workshops on issues relating to the caring role.
