ED Hope is Australia’s national telephone and web-based counselling support service for people affected by eating disorders. The service runs from 8am to 9pm, Mondays to Fridays, and includes phone, email and web-chat (online) support and counselling, referrals to health professionals, information resources, plus delivery of online support groups and a web-based carer education program.
Through these channels you will rapidly create a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment for eating disorder sufferers and their families/carers and friends, in order to empower them to work towards recovery.
Successful applicants will be an experienced psychologist with clinical or counselling psychology masters degree; or a highly experienced psychotherapist, social worker or counsellor with a masters degree in a relevant discipline, and clinical experience in the field of eating disorders.See details below:
