Hosted by the Centre for Eating and Dieting Disorders with Sydney Local Health District, this year’s Forum centered around the theme “Eating Disorders are Everybody’s Business”, reflecting the need for a whole team approach to the treatment of eating disorders.
Researchers at Western Sydney University are conducting a study to understand the experience of clinicians who work as Maudsley Family-based therapists for adolescent anorexia nervosa.
This study involves one of the researchers speaking to you about your experiences as a clinician working with people who experience adolescent anorexia nervosa and their families, including your thoughts and experiences of using Maudsley Family-Based Therapy as treatment.
Recruitment details: Any clinician of any professional background (e.g. counsellor, psychologist, family therapist) who is currently a primary provider of Maudsley Family Based Therapy for adolescent

The Butterfly Outpatient Program for Young People is a 10 week closed therapy group program that will be held twice weekly at Butterfly House in Crows Nest, NSW.
The program has been designed to target individuals aged 14 years to 24 years old who have the early signs and symptoms of an eating disorder and /or disordered eating.
Basten and Associates, Clinical Psychologists is offering a series of 6 workshops for carers of older adolescents and adults with an eating disorder.
If you are caring for a child, relative or partner with an eating disorder who is 18 years or older, this programme is designed to help you support their recovery through understanding and skills. It is not designed for parents of younger adolescents or those engaged in Maudsley Family Therapy.
It runs on Thursday evenings for six consecutive weeks, starting 27th July.
